It will be the first new Academic Year after two consecutive Academic sessions that reeled under the effect of the pandemic. Now, with the second wave of the pandemic is over, the education institutes are re-opening. Said Mr Prashant Sharma, Managing Trustee, Gopal Sharma Group of Schools, “With growing vaccination coverage and the vaccine for children is also in sight, the parents can now heave a sigh of relief and focus on nourishment and grooming of their children. Further, the new academic year will bring the original schooling form back in action, as many parents have realised that online learning is the only option in the current situation; but not for the long – run and for holistic development of a child, they have to send their children to the school.”

Speaking on new admission processes, Mrs Gool Ghadiali, Principal, Gopal Sharma Group of Schools, said, “As the admissions have commenced, the response from the parents has been quite overwhelming after the pandemic. The upbeat mood clearly indicates the parents’ urge to send their wards to pre-

Schools or further grades and see that the physical classes resume; as early as possible.”

As this would be the start of a fresh year of schooling after the pandemic, Mrs Ghadiali further stated that they had introduced courses and curriculum that would prove to be a differentiator. “All the syllabus and learning that we have planned is going to be activity-based, incorporating a child’s total involvement. This includes programmes, events and celebration of festivals, as well. More than theoretical, the subjects are going to be activity-based and participative. Education is built according to the necessity of the child,” she said.
