Directorate of School Education Jammu today organized a mega Parent Teacher Meet

JAMMU : Directorate of School Education Jammu today organized a mega Parent Teacher Meet covering all the government schools across ten districts of Jammu division.

The event was coordinated by the counselling cell of DSEJ through District counselling coordinators, DNO, ZCCs, and other officials.

The key points highlighted and discussed with the parents during the meet were ‘Academic Achievements, Internal assessment, Examination Stress Management and Cyber Security.

Director School Education Jammu, Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma appreciated the efforts of the teaching community and opined that for the overall development of the students, involvement of the parents in the teaching-learning process is essential. It enables parents and teachers to work towards the positive modification of students’ performance.

“Examination stress management is the need of the hour in view of the upcoming Board examinations in winter zones” said Dr. Romesh Kumar, Counselling Cell DSEJ.
