Ural Federal University: Ural Federal University and Tajik National University Signed a Cooperation Agreement
On October 27, during the Rector’s visit to Tajikistan, a cooperation agreement was signed between Ural Federal University and Tajik National University. The meeting was attended by Victor Koksharov, Rector of the Ural Federal University, Khushvakhtzoda Kobiljon Khushvakht, Rector of the Tajik National University, and Mirzamonzoda Khayrullo Mirzamon, Vice Rector for International Relations of the Tajik National University.
Rector of the Ural Federal University got acquainted with the educational system of the Republic of Tajikistan and the organization of the educational process, as well as discussed the expansion and development of bilateral cooperation between TNU and UrFU.
As part of the agreement it is planned to create conditions for cooperation at the level of institutes, faculties, research centers, departments and scientific teams. Cooperation is envisaged in three areas – science, education and innovation.
In the field of education the development and joint implementation of online courses and implementation of academic student and teacher mobility programs are envisaged.
Cooperation in science implies joint work between institutes and faculties of the Tajik National University and Ural Federal University in the humanities, physics, and chemistry.
The innovative vector involves participation of the Tajik National University in the implementation of projects of the Ural Interregional Research and Education Center “New Materials and Technologies”.
