DDC Doda reviews performance of Banks, sponsoring departments under Self employment schemes

 

DODA : District Development Commissioner Doda, Vikas Sharma today chaired the District Level Review Committee meeting here at DC office to review the overall performance of banks and other financial institutions with the special focus on self employment schemes.

During the meeting, the DDC held threadbare discussion with regard to the number of cases sponsored by the intending departments, the cases sanctioned, cases disbursed, pending for disbursement, besides reviewed the implementation of Mumkin scheme and progress of ADHAAR linkage.

Taking a strong view of the low performance by certain banks in disbursement of self employment cases, the DDC directed them to expedite the same. He asked the LBM Doda to ensure that the updated figures reach to DC office on 15th and 30th of every month henceforth.

With regard to NRLM, the DDC directed the concerned agency to submit the updated status zone wise which shall include number of Self Help Groups constituted till March end this year and aftermath till current date, number of 1 year old SGHs.

Besides, he asked the DSWO to get the monthly progress report from all concerned departments about the cases sanctioned under the self employment generation scheme(s) especially for specially abled persons and women.

Regarding Mumkin the DDC directed the concerned nodal department to ensure that all the cases are approved in a time bound manner.

The meeting also approved 122 new Mumkin cases, taking the total number of beneficiaries to192.

The DC also took the review of Adhaar linkage of beneficiary accounts by different banks. He directed the RDD and Social Welfare department to submit the list showing the number of consent letters submitted to the banks, while the banks were directed to submit the details about the accounts linked and those pending.

The DDC exhorted upon all the officers and banks to lay special focus on sponsorship and early clearance of self employment schemes as it is the most main component for generating livelihood and is being daily monitored by the LG’s office.

The meeting was attended by CPO Doda, GM DIC, ACD Doda, LBM, District Manager NABARD, DSWO Doda, CAHO, CAO, besides other officers/representatives of various departments and banks were also present.
