Ural Federal University: Students from Kyrgyzstan Received Scholarships from the Suymonkul Chokmorov Foundation
The most successful students of Ural Federal University from Kyrgyzstan were again awarded scholarships of the Suymonkul Chokmorov Foundation. They managed to prove themselves most brightly in the university during their studies, scientific research and extracurricular work. Awarding was held in the hall of the Academic Council of the University during the reporting and elective meeting of the Kyrgyz students at Ural Federal University.
Nursultan Akmatov, a student of the Institute for Physical Culture, Sports and Youth Policy, Tynystan Alymbekov, a graduate of the Institute of New Materials and Technology, Elena German, a graduate of the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Youth Policy and Ainazik Satybaldieva, a student of the Institute of Radioelectronics and Information Technology were awarded with scholarships.
The awards were presented by Sagynbek Abdrakhmanov, a well-known graduate of the university from Kyrgyzstan – Chairman of the Board of Suymonkul Chokmorov Foundation and Co-Chairman of the Board of the Alumni Association of UPI, UrSU and UrFU in Kyrgyzstan.
“I am very pleased to award the best students with Chokmorov scholarships. We started this tradition in 2016, and I hope that the number of such scholarship holders will increase in the future. Our country desperately needs qualified personnel with a good education and practical skills. UrFU trains just such people. I graduated from this university and I am proud of it. It is one of the best technical universities in Russia. We have many Ural Federal University graduates working in the mining industry and the energy industry. People with such an education always have jobs, they are always in demand,” said Sagynbek Abdrakhmanov.
