107 grievances addressed on spot, 37 category certificates, 69 Domicile certificates & 19 revenue papers issued across Doda district

DODA : The District Administration Doda today held weekly Block Diwas meetings across the designated places of the district to redress the public grievances and to provide varied services.

The program was held under the supervision of District Development Commissioner (DDC) Vikas Sharma.

The teams of Different departments along with the frontline field functionaries delivered varied services to the people and listened to their grievances.

As many as 117 grievances/applications were received during the program, out of which 107 feasible were redressed by the officers/officials of respective departments on the spot and rest were sent to the concerned quarters for time bound redressal. Besides several services which includes 37 category certificates, 69 Domicile certificates, and 19 revenue papers were provided to the people during the day long program held at already designated locations which includes Bhaderwah, Sub division Gandoh, Subdivision Assar, Subdivision Thathri and at headquarter Doda.

The DDC paid a surprise visit to the Tehsil office Doda to oversee the conduct of the proceedings and directed the coordinator to ensure that all departments will be seated till the culmination of the meeting.
