Rangoli Making competition organised in District Kathua Schools

KATHUA : Rangoli making competition was organised in schools across district Kathua under the flagship programme ‘Azaadi ka Amrut Mahotsav’ in which students participated enthusiastically and showcased their talent.

These competitions were organised to kindle imagination and creativity amongst the students and to acquaint them with the cultural heritage and rich history of our nation.

Chief Education Officer, Prakash Lal Thapa lauded the efforts put in by the students, teaching community, HIOs, ZEOs, Nodal Officers and other officials in organising these competitions and making them a success.

Such activities help in the all-round development of the personality of students and hence have been accorded an important place in the National Education Policy-2020, he added.

He advised everyone to strictly follow the Covid SOPs while organising such activities to ensure the safety and security of the students and teachers and assured everyone that such activities will be organised in future as well for the benefit of one and all.
