DIC Doda organises interactive session with ITI Bhaderwah students under GGW campaign

 

BHADERWAH : To groom the budding entrepreneurs and utilize the Skill of future workforce, District Industry Centre (DIC) Doda today organised an awareness camp on Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) and other self-employment schemes here at ITI Bhaderwah under the Good Governance Week campaign.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah Rakesh Bhagat was the Chief Guest, while General Manager DIC Dr Khalid Malik presided over the session.

In his address, the chief guest ADC Rakesh Bhagat encouraged the ITI trainees to avail self-employment schemes to establish their own startups and become job providers instead of job seekers. .

During the question answer session, the queries raised by the students were addressed by the GM DIC. He guided the youth for availing various schemes of the department, particularly PMEGP.

Sharing various success stories, the GM informed the audience that district Doda is leading in the PMEGP scheme units in the entire Jammu Division.
