Jammu Administration retrieves over 525 Kanal Govt land across 5 Tehsils
JAMMU : District Administration Jammu has retrieved 525 Kanal and 19 marla government land in different parts of the district.
Intensifying its drive against illegal encroachers, different teams of Revenue officers/officials headed by respective Telisildars and assisted by the local Police, launched anti-encroachment drive at different locations in Tehsils of Maira Mandrian, Jammu North, Tehsil Jammu South, Tehsil Marh, and Tehsil Bhalwal and retrieved the state land from the encroachers.
A team of Revenue officers/officials headed by Tehsildar Maira Mandrian, Mamta Sudarshan launched an anti encroachment drive at village Kandi and retrieved 77 kanal and 4 marla of state land from the illegal encroachment.
Similarly, a joint team of revenue officers/officials and Police headed by Terhsildar Jammu North, Jai Singh, retrieved 10 kanal prime land at Village Mishriwala falling under Khasra Number 522, 544 and 512.
Another team of Revenue officers/officials headed by Tehsildar Marh, Ram Paul Sharma also launched an anti encroachment drive at village Gole Pattan and retrieved 112 Kanal land.
Likewise Revenue officers/officials and Police headed by Tehsildar Bhalwal, Ashok Chakravorty retrieved 265 kanal land in village Dhar Dharochian, Tehsil Bhalwal.
Meanwhile, a team of Revenue officers/officials headed by Tehsildar Jammu South, Harjeet Singh along with Javeed Parihar Naib Tehsildar also launch anti encroachment drive at village Mango Chak and retrieved 61 Kanal and 15 marla land in the said village.
The anti-encroachment drive was launched on the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Anshul Garg and Co-ordinated by Ghansham Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Law & Order), Jammu.
