Amity International School Noida, bags the “Best School Award” at the 3rd National Water Awards 2020

Noida: Amity International School, Noida, won the “Best School Award” during the 3rd National Water Awards 2020 contest, launched by the Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Government of India. The school secured the Third Position at the National Level and the First Position at the State Level. The results were declared in the presence of Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Minister of Jal Shakti, Department of Water Affairs, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation.

 

Expressing extreme pleasure on this occasion, Dr. Amita Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity Schools, said, “It is a matter of immense pride and joy for the entire Amity family and a stellar accomplishment by Amity International School Noida. More than 100 applications from various schools of the country, were submitted and schools, from different zones, were shortlisted for the Awards. Out of 8 finalists, Amity International School, Noida, secured the third position at the National Level. From Uttar Pradesh, Amity International School, Noida secured the first position. The award included a cash price of Rs. 1 lakh & a trophy along with citation. As part of the selection process, a team from State Jal Ministry had visited the school for inspection of the campus, to check and verify the claims. Thorough inspection was carried out and the team was extremely satisfied and happy after the inspection.
