Bhubaneswar: PSLVC45 lifts off successfully from SDSC carrying #EMISAT & 28 customer satellites.Another quantum leap for Indian Space Research Organisation as it successfully launches EMISAT satellite along with 28 nano satellites of global customers, including those from the USA and Spain, onboard PSLV C 45 from Sriharikota; EMISAT is India’s latest observatory satellite.

The 436 kg EMISAT, based on ISRO’s Indian Mini Satellite-2 bus platform, is intended for electromagnetic spectrum measurement.

EMISAT is an Electronic Intelligence Satellite of the DRDO, while 28 foreign satellites is from four countries–Lithuania, Spain, Switzerland and USA.
