RSW concludes at NIT Rourkela
Rourkela: ‘Research Scholars’ week2019’ concluded with much fervor and enthusiasm. It was organized by the national institute of technology, Rourkela. Addressing the research scholars’ the chairman of the organizing committee, Professor Kamalakanta Mohapatra said, “I thank all the core team members of RSW. It was very successful. Every time we are trying to improve the format. I hope next year we will organize it, even more, better way. This year we had revived some phenomenal research works. Next year we are planning to make an inter NIT event that would enable the presence of research scholars across the country and exchange of their ideas. Furthermore, this year FTBI has already announced for facilitating start-ups for all product-oriented research”, said the dean of academic affairs.
In the valedictory session, the best paper presentation awards were given to students according to their performance in the two days event. In the engineering category Bunushree Behera, Venkata Udaya Sameer B, Manas Rakshit, Barnali Banerjee, Manoj Kumar were awarded the best paper presentation awards. In the science category, Abhinav Mohanty and G Naaresh Reddy grabbed the first and second prize. While from the departments of Humanities and Social sciences and from the School of Management Kishalay Adhikari received the best paper presentation award. Professor Subashisa Dutta of Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati graced the occasion . Deputy registrar, academics Kumar Prabhanjan Panigrahi coordinated the entire event.
