Ural Federal University: Graduate School of Economics and Management Improved Its Position in the RePEc Ranking
In the updated RePEc ranking of the best economic research centers in Russia, the Ural Federal University Graduate School of Economics and Management has risen by three positions and now ranks seventh, ahead of Moscow State University and St. Petersburg State University.

Among higher education institutions, the Ural Federal University ranks fourth, behind only the Higher School of Economics, the New Economic School, and the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. In the 10/10 ranking – results of the top 10 authors over the past 10 years – the institute ranks fifth in the country, or fourth among universities.
The positions of Graduate School of Economics and Management researchers in the personal rankings are also noteworthy. In the overall ranking, Kazi Sokhag is 27th in Russia, Ivan Savin is 68th and Alberto Ferraris is 84th. In the rankings for the last 10 years, Kazi Sokhag is in 5th place in Russia, Alberto Ferraris is in 32nd place, and Ivan Savin is in 40th place.
The RePEc ranking takes into account only publications on economics, while many of the leading authors at Ural Federal University’s Graduate School of Economics and Management publish in other subject areas: management, social sciences, environmental sciences, energy, etc.
