Aakash Educational Services Launches Crash Courses and Test Series for Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET)
New Delhi : Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL), the national leader in test preparatory services, has launched a crash course as well as test series to help students prepare for the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) to be held as per reports in June 2022. CUCET is an all-India examination conducted by NTA for admission to different programs of participating Central Universities. It is a great step forward by MHRD and will provide a single window opportunity to students seeking admission in the participating universities.
The Courses will begin post Class 12 Board Examination, while admission starts from today.
AESL is offering three courses to help students prepare for CUCET: a Crash Course, a Test Series and a Test and Discussion Series.
The Crash Course is a rapid learning course for science students targeting towards completion and revision of the entire CUCET syllabus of UI-QP-01 paper (for Science UG Courses) within an approximate period of 1.5-2 months. The course includes well-researched study material, online testing and doubt clearing sessions, part and full syllabus mock test and Complimentary Mock Tests Series for UI-QP-02 (For non-science UG courses).
The Test Series is a targeted one for Science UG courses based on the pattern of actual CUCET examination. The course includes part and full syllabus mock tests, detailed solutions of each question-and-answer key for self-evaluation and learning.
The Test and Discussion Series provides targeted test series for science students based on the pattern of actual CUCET examination along with dedicated discussion sessions to help students analyze their weak areas and improve them. Each test would be followed by a discussion session through online classes. The course offers part and full syllabus mock tests, a detailed solution of each question-and-answer Key for self-evaluation and learning and an online mode of testing and discussion. Till now, 12 Central Universities have admitted students in their UG, PG and integrated courses based on their performance in CUCET. These Central Universities are Assam University, Central Universities of Gujarat, Jammu, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, and Punjab to name a few. This year, University of Delhi and Jawaharlal Nehru University have also been notified for accepting the CUCET as the entrance exam for admitting students in their various courses from the academic session 2022-23, thus, bringing the total number of participating central universities to 14. On the lines of these Central Universities, many more Central Universities are expected to come under the ambit of CUCET in coming times.
The syllabus of CUCET exam for UG science courses is largely based on the Boards/School Curriculum taught in Class XI and XII. Questions based on Aptitude and general awareness shall also be the part of question paper.
CUCET is expected to be held in the first week of June 2022 after the conclusion of the Board exams. The exam may be held in two shifts each day, one from 10 AM-12 PM, and another from 3 PM-5 PM in line with the pattern of CUCET 2021.
