GDC Doda organizes guest lecture to observe Safer Internet Day

Doda: To observe Safer Internet Day, the NSS and NCC (Navy) units under the aegis of IQAC of Government Degree College, Doda organized a “guest lecture” based on the theme “Together for a better internet”. The event was organized under the able guidance and patronage of Dr. Attar Singh Kotwal, Principal of the college. About 25 students of the college participated in this online event. The guest lecture was delivered by Dr. Tariq Hussain sheikh, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Sciences, KCMGDC Poonch. The event was organized to make the youth aware about the various internet malwares, viruses and hacking risks which are posed by the present digital age. The students also asked questions to the resource person about the various online risks and safer internet practices. Prof. Zain Batt, CTO, NCC (Navy) coordinated the whole event. The event was technically steered by Dr. Sumit Kotwal, NSS Programme Officer of the college. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Arjun Singh, NCC, CTO (Infantry).
