Online talk on NEP 2020 and the Indian Languages

 

Aligarh: Dr Mithilesh Kumar Jha (Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati) will deliver an online talk on ‘NEP 2020 and the Indian Languages: Making Sense of Emerging Public Spheres in Modern India’ to mark the International Mother Language Day observations of the Masud Husain Khan Linguistic Society (MHKLS), Department of Linguistics, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) on February 21 at 11am.

“The talk will be presided over by Prof Shreesh Chaudhary (Former faculty member, Department of HSS, IIT, Madras)”, said Prof M J Warsi (Chairman, Department of Linguistics).

He is in the organising committee of the program with Prof S Imtiaz Hasnain, Prof Shabana Hameed (President, MHKLS), Mr Masood Ali Beg (Secretary, MHKLS), Dr Sabahuddin Ahmad, Dr Nazrin B Laskar, Dr Sadia H Hasan, Dr Abdul Aziz Khan, Dr Pallav Vishnu, Dr Shamim Fatma, Dr Noman Tahir, Dr Mehvish Mohsin and Dr Saba Parween.
