Mega awareness campaign on Mission Youth schemes continues in Poonch

POONCH : In continuation to the Mega awareness campaign on Mission Youth schemes, District Administration Poonch on Tuesday organised a Youth outreach camp here at Government Higher Secondary School Lassana.

BDC Chairperson Noorjan was the chief guest on the occasion.

The main aim of the outreach camp was to educate the unemployed educated youth of the district about various initiatives ( schemes & programs) being implemented by different departments in the district under Mission youth and other self employment generation schemes.

Scores of people attended the awareness with due adherence to COVID19 protocols.

Addressing the participants, the Deputy Director Employment, Abid Hussain Shah, briefed the youth about Mission Youth schemes like Mumkin, Tajiswani, Sahitya, Pervaaz, Raise together, spurring, entrepreneurship and assistance schemes for unemployed dental surgeons.

Similar function was also held in Government Boys Higher Secondary School block Surankote which was attended by a number of youth and PRIs participated.

The field functionaries of the concerned departments educated the participants about various self employment generation schemes and motivated the public to avail benefits of the same to raise their socioeconomic status.
