Publications Division Adopts Digital Payment Measures for sale

Aligarh : With a view to boosting the sale, the Publications Division of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has adopted digital payment methods enabling customers to pay through QR Code or Debit/Credit Cards.

The book-lovers now have a choice to make payments through all digital/mobile wallet platforms, credit/debit card, or UPI by scanning the QR Code in a safe and convenient way, with no physical exchange of money involved.

“Cashless payment mechanism at Publications Division was the need of the hour, as more number of people are digitally empowered, triggered partly by Covid-19 pandemic but also by the widespread use of internet and smartphones,” said Prof Ali Mohammad Naqvi, Director, Publications Division/ Sir Syed Academy, AMU.

Dr. Mohammad Shahid, Deputy Director, Publications Division/ Sir Syed Academy informed that the QR Code scan facility started today, with a POS machine for Credit/Debit Cards already in place, which will give an added option of payments to book-buyers.
