Webinar on ‘Future of Blockchain and Cryptocurrency’

Aligarh : Domain experts deliberated the evolution of new technologies, financial innovations and dynamic ways through which digital currencies are transforming the way we use money in a webinar on ‘Future of Blockchain and Cryptocurrency’ of the Department of Business Administration, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in association with the Crypto University network.

“Blockchain has come a long way to emerge as an encompassing innovative backbone technology to add value to businesses across sectors, much beyond the originally planned cryptocurrency realm”, said Ajoy Pathak (Crypto University expert and financial services industry veteran).

He added: “This technology is going to be the game-changer in the days to come. According to surveys and reports, many new innovative companies will use it and in less than a decade Blockchain and Cryptocurrency can become foundational technologies for a substantial portion of the global customer base”.

Ajoy apprised the students with the bright future prospects in this domain and urged them for careers in the Blockchain industry.

Devesh Chawla (Founder and CEO of Chatur Ideas, TEDx Speaker and Advisor with Crypto University) encouraged students to master blockchain and cryptocurrencies as required for future employment and to learn how these technologies can be used as entrepreneurs.

Prof Jamal Ahmad Farooqui (Chairman, Department of Business Administration) spoke on emerging opportunities in the Blockchain domain and extended gratitude to the expert speakers for raising awareness among students on Blockchain and Cryptocurrency.

Prof Saboohi Nasim and Dr Ahmad Faraz Khan discussed various on-going efforts in the space of Blockchain at the Department of Business Administration.

The webinar concluded with Crypto University Network experts and the Department of Business Administration faculty members agreeing to explore future opportunities for strengthening industry-academia collaboration.
