AMU mourns death of Lab Assistant
Aligarh : Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Vice Chancellor, Professor Tariq Mansoor with Department of Ophthalmology faculty members and students offered heartfelt tributes to late Lab Assistant, Mr Mohd Sabir who passed after being rammed by a speeding vehicle.
Expressing solidarity to the bereaved family of the deceased, the Vice Chancellor said: “You have my deepest sympathy and unwavering support. I wish you peace, comfort and courage, at this time of sorrow. My heart goes out to you in this difficult time”.
Reading the condolence message, Prof Adeeb Alam Khan, Officiating Chairman, Department of Ophthalmology, J N Medical College (JNMC), AMU spoke about Mr Sabir’s career as a Lab Assistant at the Department of Ophthalmology.
He added: “Mr Sabir was a sincere and dedicated worker. I wish comfort and courage to his family”.
Prof Rakesh Bhargava (Dean, Faculty of Medicine) and Prof Shahid A Siddiqui (Principal, JNMC) also attended the condolence meet.
