IRP 16th Bn provides rescue equipment to Civil QRT Ramban under CAP

JAMMU : IRP 16th Battalion APC Pernote, Ramban today organized a Disaster management programme under Civic Action Programme. During the programme different rescue equipment viz Jackets, Helmets, Hand Glows, Rope, Hammer, Axes, Spades, Stretcher etc. were handed over to Bashir Ahmed, president Civil Quick Response Team Ramban (NGO).

Pawan Parihar-SSP CO IRP 16th BN. in presence of Rayaz Iqbal Tantray-SP (Adjutant) presented the Disaster management equipment to the NGO.

The Commandant, in his address, appreciated the role of Civil QRT Ramban in rescue operations especially during the recent incident of tunnel collapse at Khoni Nallah. He hoped that the team will continue to work with the same zeal and zest in future also.

The president and other members of the NGO appreciated the efforts of Police in strengthening the Civil QRT which shall be helpful in Disaster management in the district Ramban.
