Interactive Session with new RM Hall residents

 

Aligarh : Teams of the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) administration and its residential hostel, Sir Ross Masood (RM) Hall in an ‘Interactive Session’ briefed the new hall residents about life at the university hostels as they begin their journey at AMU.

Welcoming the new resident students, hall seniors and guests at the induction, Maj Mohammad Israil (Provost, RM Hall) stressed on living with the glorious AMU tradition and culture.

He familiarised them with the hostel staff, who have been assigned various responsibilities for the new session and about the educational quality and campus life at AMU.

“Hostel life gives a chance to inculcate and make a healthy relationship with seniors and juniors,” said Prof Naiyer Asif (Deputy Dean Students’ Welfare-DSW).

He also briefed the newcomers on various scholarships to avail.

Prof Shakeel Ahmad (Deputy DSW) urged the fresh students to represent AMU culture.

Prof Hashmat Ali Khan (Deputy Proctor) apprised the new hall residents about AMU rules and regulations.

The team of the wardens comprising Dr Md Khursheed Alam, Abdul Faheem, Dr Jamal Ahmad, Dr Furkan, Mohd Shahwar Khan, Dr Farman Ali with senior student residents also interacted with the students.

Dr Mohammad Tuafique (General Warden) extended the vote of thanks.
