“Siberian Federal University has quite a lot of Uzbek universities as partners. As of today, we have signed 14 agreements with 12 universities. We consider Uzbekistan as a promising vector of relations, given the course taken to strengthen ties between the CIS countries,” commented on the signing of memoranda the Rector of SibFU Maxim Rumiantsev. — The signed documents set the framework for further cooperation. Thus, we have already outlined the first steps — this year an International Summer University will be held on the basis of SibFU. Within the framework of this event, about 30 students from Uzbekistan will visit our city. The Summer University will be dedicated to the topic of entrepreneurship and economic development. In addition, professors from the universities who have signed memorandums of cooperation are scheduled to visit SibFU — the guests will hold a series of open lectures here.”
