Loughborough University: Loughborough secures top ten ranking for seventh consecutive year in Complete University Guide 2023

Loughborough has been ranked seventh out of 130 universities – securing a place in the top ten for the seventh year running – in the Complete University Guide 2023, published today (Tuesday 14 June 2022).

It also remains the highest ranked university in the Midlands, underlining its position as one of the best universities in the country.

‌The league table is based on ten measures: Entry Standards, Student Satisfaction, Research Quality, Research Intensity, Graduate Prospects – outcomes, Graduate Prospects – on track, Student-Staff Ratio, Spending on Academic Services, Spending on Student Facilities, and Completion. It includes 130 institutions.

Speaking about the 2023 guide Professor Nick Jennings, the University’s Vice-Chancellor, said: “Loughborough’s continued success in the Complete University Guide is testament to the unique environment we have created at our campuses, where our academic colleagues and students truly thrive. And our new strategy, Creating Better Futures Together, demonstrates our continued commitment to ensuring every member of our University community gets the very best out of their time at Loughborough.
