Kotak Mahindra Bank Ties up with Ministry of Earth Sciences for a Central Sector Scheme
New Delhi : Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited (“KMBL”/“Kotak”) today announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Government of India, enabling it to disburse funds for a Central Sector Scheme to the National Centre for Earth Science Studies (NCESS), Trivandrum. The NCESS promotes technological advancement and research in the country, particularly in the field of Earth Sciences and has been designated as a Central Nodal Agency.
The MoU signing ceremony was held in New Delhi in the presence of Vishvajit Sahay – Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor, MoES; Kapil Dev Meena – Controller of Accounts, MoES; Gopal R. Iyengar – Scientist G, MoES; and O.P. Mishra – Scientist G and Head NCS, MoES. The MoU was signed by Sonia Dawar – Sr. Accounts Officer, Pay and Accounts Office, MoES and R Vardharajan, Business Head-Government Business, Kotak Mahindra Bank.
