Abdullah Hall concludes ‘Integrity Week’ observations with Cyclothon and Walkathon
Aligarh: Abdullah Hall residents, Saarah Maaz, Aneela Usmani and Ruqayya Khanam won the first, second and third prizes respectively in the Cyclothon event; while Faiza Ayyub Khan won the Walkathon with Iram Sabha and Aman Malik finishing second and third respectively.
The events concluded the week-long ‘Integrity ? A Way of Life’ observations at the Abdullah Hall, AMU which were carried out in line with the nation-wide initiative to promote integrity, transparency and accountability in public life.
“The residential girl students of the hall pledged to promote ethical practices, a culture of honesty and integrity and to maintain the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and good governance,” said Dr Ghazala Naheed, Provost, Abdullah Hall.
Essay writing, slogan writing and poster making competitions were also held to foster the strength of public harmony and national integration.
The special guests, Dr Khalida, Dr Ismat, Dr Arshia and Dr Fauzia also spoke on the occasion. Ms Mehwash Khan conducted the programme.
