Workshop on IPR and IP Management for Startups organized at Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna

Patna: A ‘Workshop on IPR and IP Management for Startups’ was organized by Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) at CIMP Auditorium. This event was part of Institute Innovation Council (IIC) Activity as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC).
On this occasion, Dr. Shweta Singh, Founder & CEO, Ennoble IP, was present as speaker and shared the dais with Mr. Khushal Juneja, General Manager – IP & Operations, Ennoble IP and Prof. Rajeev Verma. Apart from CIMP students, faculties and staffs, startups and students also attended the event. Dr. Shweta Singh is an IPR Expert. She is Founder & CEO of Ennoble IP, and Women Innovation & Entrepreneurship Foundation (STEP UP 360).
In his welcome speech, Prof. Dr. Rajeev Verma highlighted the need to be aware of IPR rights in contemporary times and how the workshop would benefit the institution as well as the participants in their future endeavors as innovators.
Dr. Shweta while addressing the participants and discussing about her motivation behind becoming an IPR Expert and starting her own company Ennoble IP said, ” India has the largest number of innovative minds but the highest number of Patents and IPRs are filed by China.” . She also discussed about the various facets of IPR, patents, trademarks, the process of filling for IPR, the need to file IPR as well as the measures to report for IPR violation.
During the interactive session, participants enthusiastically participated and asked relevant questions. At the end of event, vote of thanks was offered by Prof. Rajeev Verma and he presented a memento to Dr. Shweta and Mr. Khushal Juneja . It was a free of cost event. Also certificates of participation will be issued to the participants later.
