Ohio State University: Ohio State releases spring 2022 dean’s list and graduates
The spring 2022 semester ended with almost 22,000 students excelling academically at The Ohio State University.
The semester’s dean’s list names 21,850 students who received top marks for their work, including 16,736 Ohio students, 3,877 non-resident students and 1,237 students whose permanent address is not in the United States.
Criteria for the dean’s list varies by college. It is usually based on the GPA for that specific term and the number of credit hours taken. Many colleges require a minimum of 12 graded credit hours with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
Ohio State is also issuing the list of students who earned degrees at commencement on May 8, 2022. The university awarded 12,335 degrees at the ceremony, including 438 doctoral, 832 professional, 1,943 master’s and 9,122 bachelor’s, associate degrees and certificates.
Students may choose not to have their names released under the provisions of the Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974. Their names have been excluded from the lists.
