Ural Federal University: University to Expand Staff Training for Kyrgyzstan
At the Innoprom-2022 forum and exhibition, the university signed an agreement with Kyrgyzindustry. The document was signed by Victor Koksharov, Rector of the Ural Federal University, and Zharasul Abduraimov, President of Kyrgyzindustry and UrFU graduate.
“We are ready to help our Kyrgyz partners in the field of scientific research, training and retraining, as well as in the introduction of new technologies. The main way for our cooperation is through the Kyrgyz Alumni Association,” said Victor Koksharov.
Zharasul Abduraimov met with Ural Federal University students along with Sagynbek Abdrakhmanov, Chairman of the Board of the Kyrgyz Alumni Association – the conversation took place as part of the “Meetings” project.
“For us, the main thing in cooperation with Ural Federal University is the human resources, which are in short supply. I am very happy that we signed the Agreement. This will allow us not only to attract students for internships, but also to cooperate with Ural Federal University scientists. For example, in the field of pyrometallurgy. The university’s excellent theoretical base will help us jointly research and implement developments. We also plan to send our employees for industrial practice at plants in the Sverdlovsk Region,” says Abduraimov.
In May, during preparation for the II Forum of University Rectors of the Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz Republic, which was held at UrFU, Victor Koksharov met in Bishkek with Zharasul Abduraimov, who is also the Chairman of the Management Board of Kyrgyzaltyn. Then agreements were reached on the practical training of Kyrgyz students, the training of employees in Master’s Degree Programs, and the introduction of the university’s scientists’ developments in production.
