Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib Health camp at Talashpur Khurd Village

 

Aligarh : Female residents of the Talashpur Khurd village at Mathura Bypass Road were consulted and informed of the measures for preventing diseases and treatment of rehabilitative diseases by the doctors of the Department of Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib, Faculty of Unani Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in a free medical health camp held recently.

The health camp was a part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ observations of the Department of Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib in line with the ‘Hamara AYUSH Hamara Swasthya’ campaign of the NCISM Ministry. It was conducted in collaboration with the Frigerio Conserva Allana Pvt Ltd.

“The Talashpur Khurd village has been adopted by the Department of Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib to improve and protect the quality of health of the village residents”, said Prof Rubi Anjum (Chairperson, Department of Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib).

Prof Rubi inaugurated the camp with guests Aziz Junjani (AGM-HR), Ajay Rai (DGM-Operation) and Heamant Tiyagi (AM-HR) and counseled more than 150 female village residents on the importance of education and hygienic practices along with other doctors and postgraduate students.

The female residents of the village were provided with free health checkups and given free medicines.
