Asia Pacific Institute of Management (APIM) Organized Orientation Programme for 2022-24 Batch
Asia Pacific Institute of Management (APIM), New Delhi organized its 27th Orientation programme for the batch of 2022-24 in post graduate diploma in management (PGDM) Students. Dr. Balram Rao, Director of Asia Pacific Institute of Management, along with Chairman A.K. Shrivastava welcomed the students and their families into the APIM community and acquainted them with the prerequisites before they embark on their journey. Dr. Dinesh Kumar Likhi, Director at J.P Power Venture Ltd, was the Chief Guest. Mr. Prakash Bisht, HR North ICICI Bank also graced the ceremony.
Dr. Balram Rao asserted that the B School would do everything to ensure that students’ expectations and aspirations are matched. “We try to do what best we can with whatever we have and We’ll always make sure that you are provided with all that is required for quality learning, but it is up to you to have the zeal to learn and transform yourselves into able beings. This is the time to transform yourself to become the better version of yourself. After the pandemic a lot of things have changed and we are also ready to deal with the changes”, he said.
Addressing the students Dr. Dinesh Kumar Likhi said “While you are working in a corporate sector or anywhere else your gaining knowledge should not stop, because knowledge is never sufficient, its dynamic and ever changing, you always need to acquire it. Skill enhancement is also important, it provides the opportunity and knowledge for an individual to develop and strengthen the necessary skills to gain, maintain, and advance in a chosen area. Always keep your expectations much higher than what you are, then you will be able to reach that goal by creative thinking. Today we can’t live without digital technology, try to maintain your digital profile, so that your profile can come up and get selected through AI selection method.”
The Director, Dr. Balram Rao, introduced the Faculty and Staff of APIM to the new batch of students. Mr. Anjanee, Deputy Registrar, took the new students through the highlights of the Course Book and gave them a brief overview of the year ahead and what it would entail.
The new batch was also addressed by Dr Sudhir Rajguru, Area Chairperson, Dr Prafulla Ranjan, Program Director, and other Faculty members of APIM.
It was a day of new beginnings made special with thoughtful words, advice and inspiration that will be the perfect start for the journey the freshers will be taking on for the next two years.
