WIC India Dehradun Organized Poetry Circle ‘SHAAM – E – ADAB 2022’
Dehradun : On the auspicious occasion of 75 years of Independence of India, WIC India Dehradun organized a poetry circle ‘SHAAM – E – ADAB 2022’. The program provided a platform to young and budding poets and writers of Dehradun and Uttarakhand to showcase their endowment for literature and poetry. Dr. Mahesh Bhatt, Dr.Kaushik Ghosh, Dr.Noopur Jha and Dr. Shachi Negi were the eminent panelists.
More than 30 participants Satender Sharma, NIVH, Anjali Tiwari, APOLLO INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, Pawan Kumar, IRDE, Palak Jha, DIT, Pratyush Saxena, GLOBAL PAYMENT, Sonia Gairola, THEATRE, Shailee Srivastav, DWT, Swati Uniyal, DWT, Somal Ranjan, Ina Rayal, DWT,Harish Ravi, SBI, Deepika Gupta, EVALUE SERVE COMPANY, Ambika Singh, POET, Satya Prakash, X SERVICEMAN, Kaviat Khatri, THEATRE ARTIST, Asif, DOON UNIVERSITY, Rudra, St Joseph Academy, Shubhangi Singh Somvanshi, Doon Defence Academy, Supriya Kumari, Doon Defence Academy, Saniya Khan, Doon Defence Academy, Bulbul Sharma, Defence Academy,Tanuja , Vanshika, Preeti Tiwari, Govt Inter college
from different age groups participated at the event and showcased their talent by reciting their favourite poem or poem written by them.
Commenting on the occasion, Dr.Mahesh Bhatt, a surgeon, writer, public health consultant and a researcher practicing medicine for the last 25 years in Dehradun said, ” It is an honour to be present among such talented poets. I would like to thank everyone for sharing a piece of their mind and thoughts through poems with us.”
“It is our absolute pleasure to be associated with WIC India and organise SHAAM – E – ADAB 2022 for the poetry enthusiasts. It is our small effort to bring the talented poets under one roof and recognise their talent”, added Sushant Vashishtha, ETA Education Services.
The event was attended by 150 poetry enthusiasts including Geeta Gairola, founder of Mahila Samakhya and members of WIC India.
