Equitas Small Finance Bank conducted ‘Game Of Knowledge’ an intra-school Quiz Contest

New Delhi: Equitas Small Finance Bank, the new age bank that gives children, youth, families and business people across India a new way to bank, organized ‘Game Of Knowledge’ an intra-school Quiz Contest. The event is part of a week’s long children’s day celebration conducted across the country at 100 schools.

The quiz was structured in three rounds where students were divided into 15 teams. The preliminary rounds carried general knowledge questions and after two rounds of prelims, 6 teams qualified to the final round. The final round had audio and video based questions to engross the participants. It was a very close competition between the six teams and finally one team emerged as the winner and they were awarded a grand trophy.

A host of events were conducted across 100 Schools where more than 10,000 children participated throughout the country. The events were conducted in Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Delhi, Haryana, Chattisgarh, Varanasi, Nagpur, Pune, Gujarat and many other cities.

Children were also exposed to be a banker for a day through an unique initiative “tour a bank” where school students were invited to Equitas Bank branches where they were given a chance to explore, understand and learn the functioning of a bank. Equitas Small Finance Bank aims to impart the habit of saving among children and also increase their understanding of the banking sector at a very young age.

The drawing contests showcased a plethora of talent and creativity among the young budding artists and it was a priceless moment of joy for the teachers and parents to have witnessed the un-dampened energy and excitement during the competitions. The winners were presented with trophies and colouring kits.

The main objective of this initiative is to stimulate the creativity and curiosity among the kids . Equitas Small Finance Bank aims to create an impact in the society by conducting activities that help in holistic development of children.
