Rajouri admin finalises Skill Dev plan for FY-2022-23
Targets to train 3260 unemployed youth this year DC stresses on imparting job oriented skills to youth
RAJOURI: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to finalise the Skill Development plan for FY-2022-23.
During the meeting, it was informed that scores of new courses have been introduced in the plan this year to meet the aspirations of the unemployed youth. It was further informed that as many as 3260 unemployed youth would be provided training in different trades this year.
Inquiring about the courses being run in the training institutions as per the NSQ framework, the DC stressed on conducting all the courses under NSQF framework.“Skill development of youth is priority of the government and many initiatives are being taken in this regard” he added.
Laying special focus on upskilling of the youth, the DDC asked the concerned officers to explore new modalities to hone the ability of the talented youth of the district by taking skill development to grassroots level.
