Pearl Academy awarded certification of Affiliation from AMHSSC, NSDC
New Delhi: Pearl Academy, India’s leading institution in design, fashion, creative businesses and media gets affiliated to AMHSSC (Apparel, Made-ups, Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council) to make students industry ready and provide them a competitive edge to succeed in the skill oriented creative domains. Students need to go through an assessment based on the knowledge, skills and attitude required for performance on the job to earn the certificate.
Commenting on the initiative, Dr. Roopak Vasishtha, CEO and Director General, Sector Skill Council, AMHSSC said, “The tie up between Apparel Made-ups and Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council and Pearl Academy is a great step towards boosting entrepreneurship and increasing employment opportunities for the students. After acquiring the certificate in the desired NSQF Level, they will not only be able to work in the prime domestic industries but will also have bright avenues for international openings. Incidentally, Level 7 of NSQF is equivalent to Graduation Level of Academic stream as per Government of India’s orders.”
