JNMC Senior Resident bags top prize at FIPS CONGRESS-2019
Aligarh: ‘A study of Vitamin D Levels and Nerve Conduction Velocity in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients’, a research work by Dr Abeer Masood, Senior Resident, Department of Physiology, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University which deals with myriad roles of Vitamin D in the human body bagged her the second prize in poster presentation at the VIIIth Congress of Federation of Indian Physiological Societies (FIPS CONGRESS-2019), ESIC Medical College, Faridabad.
Internationally renowned system physiologist, Prof M A Maarten Frens, Vice Dean of Education, University Medical Centre, United Kingdom conferred Dr Abeer with the prize.
Senior Residents, faculty members and researchers from all over the country participated in the Congress.
Dr Abeer had prepared her research work under the supervision of Prof Sangeeta Singhal, Chairperson, Department of Physiology and Dr S Aijaz A Rizvi.
