Awareness camp on educational Rights of students held at Bal Ashram

UDHAMPUR : District Social Welfare Department, in collaboration with District Information Center Udhampur, today organised an awareness camp on “Educational Rights of Students” here at Bal Ashram.

During the camp, DIO, Rajinder Kumar Digra and DSWO, Kanika Gupta made the students aware about their educational Rights. They termed awareness as a necessary tool to safeguard rights of the students and said that education is pivotal for development of the students.

They also motivated the students to read newspapers and general knowledge books in addition to their syllabus books.

Both the officers motivated the students to participate in sports and cultural activities side by side academics.
