5 students from Aditya Birla World Academy (ABWA) win prestigious ‘Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards’
Mumbai: Aditya Birla Education Trust backed Aditya Birla World Academy, India’s leading International school achieved eminent international recognition with 5 of its students winning the prestigious ‘Outstanding Cambridge Learner’ awards in recognition of their exceptional performance in the Cambridge Assessment International Education exams in 2018-19.
The winning students displayed distinction at a global level, excelling in subjects of Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Psychology in the ‘Top in World’ category and Accounting, Economic and Physics in ‘Top in Country’ category.

ABWA has been delivering Cambridge International curriculum for 12 years and is proud to be associated with the world’s largest community of international schools. Undertaking the Cambridge International curriculum allows flexibility in the teaching methodology, encourages thinking amongst students as well as equips them to become globally aware, yet keeping in line with the culturally context. This approach has enhanced learning outcomes, resulting in exceptional performances during the assessments/exams.
This year, 207 Indian students from across the country have been declared winners and have received Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards. The awards recognise exceptional exam performance in 2018-19 under four categories – ‘Top in the World’, ‘Top in the Country’, ‘High Achievement Award’ and ‘Best Across’. The number is much higher compared to 173 winners in 2017-2018.
