BITSoM appoints 15 new faculty members

BITSoM (BITS School of Management), the new-age business school based in Mumbai, has added 15 new faculty members to its already stellar faculty pool. The new professors will teach diverse subjects such as Entrepreneurial Finance and Fundraising, Crafting and Delivering Services, Sustainability, Environment and Business, Research Methods, Business Analytics, International Finance, Strategic Brand Management, Logistics and supply chain, Risk Management, Intelligent Project Management, Work Efficiency Essentials, Persuasive Writing, and Systems Thinking, to students of the two-year, full-time residential MBA programme. The curriculum has been designed with deep industry engagement that seeks to address the needs of increasingly digital organisations.

Welcoming the new faculty on board, Dr Ranjan Banerjee, Dean and Professor – Marketing, BITSoM said, “BITSoM is trying to source the best faculty in the world and create a contemporary and vibrant learning experience. The new faculty members are:

  • Amit Bubna, Fellow, School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Johns Hopkins University; Principal, Bates White Economic Consulting, will teach Entrepreneurial Finance and Fundraising
  • Amrita Gupta, Data and Accountability Lead – Generation Equality Forum, Global Fund for Women, will teach Sociology in Theory and Practice
  • Avantika Tomar, Partner, EY-Parthenon will teach Persuasive Writing, and Research Methods
  • Kapil R Tuli, Lee Kong Chian Professor of Marketing, Director, Retail Centre of Excellence at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University, will teach Crafting and Delivering Services
  • Manish Agarwal, Former Partner, PWC, Visiting Faculty at IIM Kozhikode and IIM Indore, will teach Systems Thinking
  • Miniya Chatterji, CEO Sustain Labs Paris, Author, Global Leadership Fellow alumna of the World Economic Forum, will teach Sustainability, Environment and Business
  • Nitin Paranjape, CEO and Founder, MaxOffice Services, will teach Work Efficiency Essentials
  • Ram Ganeshan, Professor of Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Raymond A Mason School of Business, will teach Logistics and supply chain
  • Ratan Postwalla, Partner and Co-founder, People Trust, will teach Smart Problem Solving and Comprehensive Performance Management
  • Reena V Mithal, Managing Partner, Sankhya Capital, will teach International Finance
  • Sandeep Chandukala, Associate Professor of MarketingSingapore Management University (SMU), will teach Business Analytics
