Nasha Mukt pledge ceremony held across district Ramban
Ramban : The District Administration on Thursday administered a pledge to students, youth, and other people to solicit their support in the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan.
Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam administered the pledge to the participants in the premises of the District Administrative Complex, Ramban.
SSP Mohita Sharma, ADC, Harbans Lal Sharma, ACR, Gias -Ul –Haq, ACD, Ashok Katoch, DSWO, Rahul Gupta and various senior officers also participated.
In his message, the DC advised the students to concentrate only on their overall development and strive to reach a high position in their lives. The DC also asked the public to inform the police about the sale of drugs if it happened in their localities to eradicate this evil from society. He said that the administration is working towards a drug-free society.
Meanwhile, the students and teachers took the pledge against drug abuse in their respective Schools, Colleges, and other institutions.
The Officers and heads of institutions urged the students to obey their parents, elders, teachers and avoid the path of drugs.
Similar programmes were also held at Subdivision, tehsil, block, office and institution levels where several programmes were presented by the students on Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan which witnessed huge participation of youth.
