Korea Maritime & Ocean University: Signed a business agreement with the Support Center for Students with Disabilities and the Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled

On the 5th, the Support Center for Students with Disabilities (Chairman Ji-Woong Lee) signed a business agreement with the Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled (Director Woon-Kyung Lee) to ‘ expand career and employment support for students with disabilities ‘ .



The Support Center for Students with Disabilities is an organization that carries out teaching and learning, support for university life, efforts to improve the perception of disabled students by university members, and improvement of mobile convenience facilities for students with disabilities.



This business agreement ceremony was prepared to provide customized career and employment support services to students with disabilities . The event, which was held at the Korea Maritime University Oullimgwan, was attended by major officials from both organizations, including Lee Ji-woong, head of the Support Center for Students with Disabilities, and Lee Un-kyung, head of the Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled.



In accordance with this agreement, the two organizations plan to establish a system of cooperation between education and employment in order to solve the difficulties experienced by university students with disabilities in the process of finding a job . It is explained that we will work together to provide optimal career search and employment support services .



In addition, to implement the agreement, these organizations promote various related activities such as ▲ a job tour group for students with disabilities ▲ an online job camp for students with disabilities ▲ a recruitment briefing session.



Lee Ji-woong, head of the Support Center for Students with Disabilities, said, “The role of the Support Center for Students with Disabilities within the university is important for the expansion of vocational education and employment for successful social transformation of students with disabilities. I will do my best to get a job.”
