JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) launches ‘Discovering New India’

Bengaluru : JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Bengaluru is launching ‘Discovering New India – Multiculturalism| Pluralism| Harmony’, which will be released by Dr. M N Venkatachaliah, former Chief Justice of India on September 17, 2022 at CMS Business School, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Sheshadri Road, Bengaluru at 4 PM.

Discovering New India is a collection of thought-provoking and well-written articles by a group of progressive thinkers of society, reflecting the country’s aspirations for national solidarity, economic prosperity and social justice. This book is an initiative to propagate the values we espouse, namely harmony and hope, and promote positivity, that can reduce violence and hatred; to critically examine issues of contemporary relevance in the context of the current socio-economic, religious, and political events; and to stimulate discussion on these disciplines in the public domain. It has been produced with the vision of promoting India as a model of Unity and Diversity.

Dr. A. Ravindra, former Chief Secretary, Government of Karnataka and Dr. Priyanca Mathur, Head and Associate Professor at the Centre for Research in Social Sciences and Education, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) have edited and compiled these articles to produce a unique book which should inspire citizens to work towards strengthening India’s potential as a unifying moral force in world affairs, while it is emerging as a global economic power.

The event will be hosted by Dr. Chenraj Roychand, Chancellor of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University). The guests of honour will be Prof. R N Iyengar, Director of the Centre for Ancient History and Culture, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) and Retd. IAS officer, Shri Chiranjiv Singh.
