Career counseling session held at STS School
ALIGARH : The Training and Placement Office (General), Aligarh Muslim University held a career counseling session at the STS School to make the students acquainted with the information regarding career options in various fields.
The resource person, Saad Hamid (Training and Placement Officer) stressed that one must take care to opt for a career that is suitable according to his or her qualifications and capabilities.
“It is common among students to get influenced by misinformation and end up making wrong decisions. One should not make a decision on the basis of peer pressure”, he said.
With the help of a PowerPoint presentation, he urged the students to be good in their subject, develop communication skills, and have a positive attitude. He also highlighted options in varied professions and courses based on the subject choices.
The School Principal, Mr. Faisal Nafis encouraged the students to pursue studies according to their interests. He urged them to love and respect their goal and leave no stone unturned to achieve them.
Dr. Tanweer Husain Khan conducted the session, while Ms. Nasreen Fatima (Coordinator, Cultural Activities), along with Mr. Mudassir Ali Rizvi, Mr. Mohd Mansoor Khan and Mr. Mohammad Asim supervised the counseling session.
