Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Thakur launched a capacity building training programme for 14,000 youth volunteers of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan.
While launching the programme in New Delhi, Mr. Thakur said, trained youth volunteers will play pivotal role in fulfilling the Panch Pran targets announced by the Prime Minister during his Independence Day Speech. He said, such training programmes will help the youth to upskill their knowledge base thereby preparing them for industry needs. He said, it will also help in creating world’s largest skilled workforce. The ambitious Online Training Programme is aimed at enhancing the life skills of Youth volunteers so that they can contribute effectively in national development. The Minister said, the content of the training programme has been carefully crafted and includes in-depth exercises on communication skills, leadership skills and decision making.
