Celebrate Avishkaar: Asia’s Biggest Celebration of Science & Robotics for Children

New Delhi: This is going to be an exciting month for all science, innovation and robotics aficionados with #CelebrateAvishkaar coming to town. The Biggest Celebration of Science, Tinkering & Robotics is going to be held at Thyagaraj Stadium on 14th & 15th December. What makes this event even better is that entry is FREE of cost!

You’ve got the grand finale of Asia’s Biggest Robotics Competition – IRC School League. Currently, in its Xth season, IRC School League will mark the culmination of 15+ qualifiers held across various cities and states of the country. The theme for this year’s competition is ‘Bot Olympics’ that focuses on encouraging children to be the best they can be and come up with agile, audacious and resolute robots that can compete in the true Olympian sense. The purpose is to inspire and motivate the youth to design and build robots that can withstand the trials and tribulations of the elite competition.

Along with this, there’s Avishkaar Makeathon, a competition exclusively for Makers where the Top 100 Innovations created by young innovators will be showcased. Makeathon is a one-of-its-kind competition which aims to promote MAKING in our country at an early age. It is a celebration of science, technology, and art where ambitious students can explore their passions and showcase their dream ideas to the world. This year’s Makeathon features six all-new themes – Agriculture for Zero Hunger, E-Waste Management, Interactive Art for Learning Tools, Personal Safety, Space Colonization and Water Crisis for which young innovators had to come up with ingenious solutions that may prove beneficial for our society.

And that’s not all. At this event, there’s something for everyone. At #CelebrateAvishkaar, you can take part in engaging workshops on 3D Printing with 3D pens, Aeromodelling, String Art, Electronics & Coding with Avishkaar Maker Board, AR & VR, Robotics and more!

You can participate in an attempt to set a Guinness World Record that has never been tried before. At the event, an attempt will be made to create the world’s longest connected logo made of LED rope lights. Not to forget, you get to witness an enthralling display of lights known as ‘Avishkaar Aurora’.

Last but not least, more than 200 teams will be competing at the stadium with over 800 participants!
