University of Warwick: University of Warwick appoints new Chief Information and Transformation Officer
Raja Saleem Javaid has been appointed as Chief Information and Transformation Officer (CITO) at the University of Warwick.
Joining in early October from the International Airlines Group (IAG), Raja will sit on the university’s executive board and lead Warwick’s Information & Digital Group (IDG).
He will oversee the university’s ambitious digital transformation programme, which underpins Warwick’s growth and development as a world class institution.
Working closely with colleagues across the university, Raja will continue to develop and improve Warwick’s systems and processes so it can continue to meet the fast-changing needs of its community and stakeholders.
With over 20 years’ experience from the aerospace, engineering, and retail sectors, Raja has a proven track record for delivering complex and large-scale information technology programmes for brands including Rolls Royce, Boots and Dixons Retail.
