RCA felicitates UPSC, UPPSC qualifiers
Aligarh: Residential Coaching Academy (RCA), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) felicitated four of its students for qualifying the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) Civil Services Examinations.
The felicitated students, Dr Bushra Bano (UPSC 2018, Rank 277), Mohammad Hashim (UPSC 2018, Rank 448), Usman (UPPCS 2017) and Arvind Gautam (UPPCS 2017) also interacted with the newly admitted students of RCA in a special orientation programme.
Dr Bushra Bano spoke on careful and persistent hard work for Civil Services Examinations and on choosing the right optional subjects.
Highlighting the role of RCA for her success, Dr Bushra said that Academy ensures that students channelize and direct their efforts in the right way for cracking various All-India examinations.
Mohammad Hashim shared strategies of time management and selection of appropriate study material for preparations.
Usman and Arvind Gautam urged students to develop writing practice and to do proper revision before Civil Services Mains Examinations.
Expressing satisfaction over the performance of the RCA, Prof Saghir Ahmad Ansari, Director, RCA said that the aim of the Academy is to ensure that the number of successful candidates increase every year.
Dr M Azam Khan, Deputy Director, RCA said that it is imperative to be disciplined to achieve goals while preparing for competitive exams.
Dr Irfanullah Farooqui, South Asian University, New Delhi conducted the orientation programme.
