KFC India is the Presenting Sponsor of IDCA for DICC T20 champions trophy
New Delhi : Committed to promoting sports among specially-abled youths and nurturing true talent in the country, KFC India is the Presenting Sponsor of the Indian Deaf Cricket Association (IDCA) for the upcoming Deaf International Cricket Council (DICC) T20 Champions Trophy 2022.
As the presenting sponsor, the brand, under its KFC Kshamata programme, has extended support to the IDCA team as they participate in the prestigious international tournament. The extension of the collaboration for the championship trophy scheduled to be held in Sharjah, UAE from October 1st to October 9th is an initiative to strengthen the existing relationship.
KFC India is already in partnership with the deaf cricket governing body IDCA. It joined hands in 2021 as the Principal Sponsor of the IDCA specially-abled team India until the DICC Cricket World Cup for the Deaf to be held in 2023.
Elated with this collaboration, the President of the IDCA, Sumit Jain said, “KFC India came onboard in 2021 as Principal Sponsor and now they are also supporting us as Presenting Sponsor for the upcoming Championship Trophy. The specially-abled Team India is set to face the competing countries in the DICC T20 Champions Trophy 2022 to be held in the first week of October. It will be a great opportunity for them to showcase their talent and promote cricket among other specially-abled communities in India. IDCA has also rolled out the #DareToDream campaign to promote differently-abled cricket and to drive other developmental aspects around the lives of the differently-abled youth in the country.
