Ural Federal University: UrFU Student of the Year 2022 Award Extramural Stage Launched

The first (extramural) stage of the “UrFU Student of the Year 2022” award is being held at Ural Federal University from October 5 to 16. You can apply for the award in the student’s personal account by selecting the appropriate nomination.

“UrFU Student of the Year” is a bright project for university students who have already shown themselves in the field of science, creativity, student leadership and various areas of social activities.

“The choice of nomination depends on the student’s personal achievements. For example, the future “Volunteer of the Year” needs to participate in events as a volunteer, organize events for those who want to volunteer. In general, be as immersed in their field as possible. Participant of the “Developing University” nomination should take part in the projects of the university or institute and, of course, come up with and implement these projects”, said Anastasia Norina, head of the project.

For the “Best in Creativity” nomination, the achievements will be diplomas of university, regional and international competitions; for the “Student Organization Leader” it will be qualitative and quantitative indicators of the team’s work. A total of 11 nominations are available.

After the evaluation of applications, the best participants will undergo expert interviews, where they will prove their motivation to participate and present project ideas in their nominations. As a result of the selection process, the seven leaders in each category will advance to the in-person stage.
