Ural Federal University: University Hosts Psychologists for Russia Specialized Exhibition

Psychological diagnostics, art therapy, techniques of stress and depression assessment, emergency psychological and first aid – this and much more is presented at the specialized exhibition of professional achievements “Psychologists for Russia”. The exhibition is one of the events of the All-Russian Psychological Forum, which is taking place these days at Ural Federal University.

Visitors to the exhibition can talk to psychologists, undergo training in first aid, relieve psycho-emotional stress, restore the ability to work. In addition, specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations presented psychodiagnostic equipment to assess the current functional state, the lability of the nervous system and the level of operative efficiency. They conduct training and tell about the universal algorithm of first aid. Interested participants can try to perform indirect heart massage on the simulator, the Heimlich maneuver, and give a lateral stable position to the injured person.

More than 700 leading scientists and practitioners from Russia and representatives of central and regional branches of the Russian Psychological Society participate in the forum. The participants discuss the main fundamental directions and problems of modern psychological science, practice and education.
